With over 30 years of engineering and construction experience, Mark Alkusari is known to be one of the highest quality custom homebuilders in Austin. Mark’s attention to detail and strict quality standard can be traced back to his academic study of being an industrial electrical engineer. After years of construction business expertise, Mark founded Benchmark Custom Homes in 2007 to pursue his passion of applying his engineering, project management and construction know-how in a intimate, personal level by building extraordinarily fine custom homes. Despite starting his custom home business during one of the worst recessions of the last several decades, Benchmark Custom Homes has completed millions of dollars worth of custom homes as well as residential renovations and commercial projects since it was founded.
